Krauma is a natural geothermal bathing location and restaurant at Deildartunguhver, Europe’s most powerful hot spring.
Located approximately sixty minutes from Reykjavik, locals and tourists alike can experience nature from its core, as Krauma offers guests the opportunity to relax in a variety of six geothermal baths, a relaxation room that maximizes leisure, steam baths, or at their restaurant, where they serve Icelandic cuisine from fresh local farm-produce.
Krauma approached Sahara as they were looking for a partner that could work with them on a broad service level when it came to marketing and content creation for the international market, focusing on tourists traveling to Iceland, as well as wanting to reach the locals within the Icelandic market.

In the time that Krauma and Sahara have been working together, we have cooperated on multiple projects within the digital marketing realm and procured great content creation. The partnership has evolved and navigated uncharted territory, such as adjustments due to restrictions related to COVID-19. That being said, these challenges have not stopped the partnership from staying on track without marketing goals.
We keep communication channels open at all times and have restructured our social media and digital marketing approach, created a new website, and updated all our marketing material to cater to the local Icelandic market, simultaneously keeping our focus on international audiences.
